What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files saved by a website. Browsers can also save information in local storage. We use local storage to remember your analytics choice, and PostHog may use cookies and local storage only after you accept analytics.

Stores “accepted” or “rejected” in local storage so we remember your choice. This is necessary to respect the decision you make and remains until you change it or clear your browser data.

PostHog analytics storage

If you accept analytics, PostHog may create browser storage with names beginning ph_. It uses this storage to distinguish visits, connect actions within a session, remember analytics state and support features such as session replay where enabled.

Analytics is sent directly to PostHog's EU endpoint at eu.i.posthog.com. The exact storage and duration can vary as PostHog updates its service and according to our project settings.

PostHog starts opted out. If you reject analytics, we call PostHog's opt-out control and do not capture analytics. We also ask PostHog to respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Change your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer on any page, then accept or reject analytics. If you withdraw consent, PostHog stops future capture. You can also clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
