It started on the way to the cinema.
We came up with Slepe Media while driving to the cinema. Friends and family kept asking for help — stuck trying to create a website from scratch, or left managing something that was slow, broken on phones, or impossible to update without calling someone who had long since moved on.
That struggle is everywhere around St Ives. Good businesses are running on sites that do not show them at their best, so people searching locally never find them — or bounce before they enquire. Nobody running a kitchen, a practice, a yard or a shop should have to be a web developer as well.
That is what we fix. Brand-new sites when you are starting from nothing, and remasters when the one you have is holding you back. Faster pages, clearer journeys and proper local search mean more people actually see your business. When views go up and the site works the way it should, you notice it in enquiries and revenue — not just in a prettier homepage.

Why we say remaster when you already have a site.
If you need a brand-new website, we build it from scratch. If you already have one, a remaster keeps what works and gives it the treatment it should have had in the first place.
Strip it back
We pull out the abandoned plugins, the tracking scripts nobody remembers adding and the twelve versions of the same photograph. Most sites are carrying half their weight for no reason at all.

We picked 12 hours because it is the longest a small business should ever have to sit and wonder. If your booking form has stopped sending emails on a Saturday morning, waiting until Monday for someone to acknowledge it is not support. It is just a slower kind of silence.
So there are two of us, deliberately. Between us, one is always reachable. Messages come to the same inbox and get answered by a person who already knows your site, because there are only ever a handful of them.
If something is properly broken, we do not wait out the clock. The 12 hours is the worst case, not the plan.

Speed is not a feature we upsell. Every site we build is measured against Core Web Vitals before it goes live, and again every month afterwards.
